Power Yoga for Everyone - Billund

Power yoga for everyone is an all levels vinyasa flow class where we match movement with breath to find your inner power and strength. The class will be adapted for all levels offering modifications or advancements of poses as your body needs. The goal is to flow from one pose to the next while inhaling and exhaling providing a moving meditation.

The class will begin with a short warm-up taking the time to become present on your mat coming out of your head and into your body. Then we will move into awakening the body creating flow, movement, and increasing your heart rate. We will work through standing, balancing, sitting, kneeling, and lying poses. Each class will end with gentle stretching to bring the heart rate back down and settle in to deep relaxation or savasana.

Bring your own mat and wear comfortable clothing. You may bring additional props such as a yoga block, towel, yoga strap, and/or blanket for relaxation but it is not necessary. If you have any questions, you are welcome to email Brie at: brianne.thurman84@gmail.com

Brianne Thurman

Brie is a trained 200-hour RYT yoga instructor through MBody Yoga.
Brie is trained in Baptiste Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow and Prenatal Yoga. She started practicing yoga over 10 years ago and became a yoga instructor in 2019. As a previous runner and high intensity trainer, she came to yoga to get physical exercise with less stress on the body.  Brie practiced before, during, and after both of her pregnancies and truly feels yoga is what helped her in the birthing process.
Since 2019 she has taught intermittently, taking a break after the birth of her daughter and then coming back to it. She has a passion for yoga and it has helped her find balance and focus in her life. She is passionate about health and wellbeing and is also a trained nurse practitioner and public health professional. Brie believes in the physical and mental power of yoga and that yoga should be accessible to everyone.
