Beskrivelse

Post pregnancy is a tough time for most women who deal with its after-effects, such as weight gain, sagging of muscles, joint pain, backache, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, high blood pressure, and weakness due to some deficiency.

As a new mother one has to change and adjust to many things in one’s life. No more long uninterrupted sleeps, no more long relaxed baths, no quickly going out unplanned, no time for yoga whenever we feel like it. Instead we have a new baby to care for, to devote all our attention and love to. It’s a hard and difficult time but its also a wonderful, beautiful time. Yoga can help us to find the balance. If one takes time out to keep centred, balanced and calm and follows the yogic principles the effects will be passed on to one’s baby and they will grow up happier and more peaceful.

Mum & Baby postnatal yoga class can really help mums on so many levelsphysical, mental and emotional. Postnatal yoga uses movement, breath and relaxation to allow you to reconnect with your body after pregnancy and birth.

You will start to strengthen and gently work the muscles of your core, your lower back and the pelvic floor. But there is so much more too. The classes are designed for mums  may come along with their baby, and so we try to include the little ones into the practice wherever we can. We use the yoga postures in ways that keep the babies entertained, or we may be holding the babies as part of the yoga itself. Although it doesn’t matter if your baby happen to sleep through the entire class either!!  you may use the baby wrap as well

Mum & Baby Postnatal yoga class is a great way to bond with your baby and to get you out of the house!

And this yoga class may helps to meet with other new mums provides valuable time to share experiences, and a great way to support one’s wellbeing as a new mother.

You should always check with your GP or midwife when it is appropriate to start attending a postnatal Mum & Baby yoga class. I usually advise after your 6 or 8 week check, maybe a little longer for a caesarean birth. But there is no rush, its when it feels right for you. Always good to listen to your body.

English will be the spoken language.
